Float Direct Support Professional
At The Cooperating Community Programs (The CCP) our Float Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are a huge asset to our company. Our Float DSPs are responsible for working directly with our consumers and helping them through a variety of responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities include
- Documenting progress on desired outcomes and goals
- Ensuring the safety of the consumers
- Obtain knowledge of the consumers, their likes & dislikes, behaviors & diagnosis.
- Therapeutic interventions
- Assisting the consumers in daily life
This position requires special flexibility from staff, however that flexibility is compensated handsomely. This is the perfect position for someone with previous experience providing services to persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and/or traumatic brain injury.
